The Lakes - Wetherlam

Wetherlam is a 763m mountain in the English Lake District, situated in the Southern Fells, north-west of Coniston village. Known for its historical copper mining and quarrying, the mountain's flanks are extensively pitted with man-made excavations. It is the most northerly of the Coniston Fells, offering excellent viewpoints. Starting from Skelwith Bridge the A and both B walks will ascend Wetherlam via its north eastern ridges and finish in Coniston, while the C walk will be circular starting from Coniston.
